<br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />JOINT HAMLINE AVENUE WATERMAIN <br />IMPROVEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS (IMPROVEMENT 69-1) AND . . / <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE (IMPROVEMENT ~/~i?Jr-;L~ <br /> <br />The parties to this agreement are ~he Village of <br />Roseville (hereinafter called Roseville), and the Village <br />of Falcon Heights (hereinafter called Falcon Heights). <br />The purpose of this agreement (under the Joint <br />Powers Act M.S.A. 471.59) is to jointly finance construc- <br /> <br />tion of a watermain improvement on Hamline Avenue between <br /> <br />Larpenteur Avenue and Garden Avenue, bordering Falcon Heights <br /> <br />and Roseville. <br /> <br />This agreement is made in consideration of the <br /> <br />following mutual agreements and covenants: <br /> <br />1. This agreement is contingent upon each Village <br />complying with all conditions precedent to the institution of <br /> <br />said municipal improvement, including holding public hearing <br />and ordering the improvement, all as required under the pro- <br /> <br />vision of M.S.A. 429.01 and 429.111, inclusive, as amended. <br />2. Falcon Heights has prepared plans and specifi- <br /> <br />cations, advertised for bids, and received bids for the entire <br />improvement, all in accordance with the adoption of plans and <br />specifications pursuant to the requirements of M.S.A. 429.01 <br /> <br />and 429.111, inclusive, as amended. <br /> <br />3. The lowest responsible bid for the entire <br />improvement is $9,697.20, as is more fully set forth in the <br />bid submitted by Arnold R. Kraft and Company pursuant to bid <br />documents, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A <br /> <br />and incorporated by reference. <br />
