The
work should all be complete by June 11.
Fencing
Century Fence, the fence subcontractor, has begun
fence reinstallation. They will be installing fence on
those yards that will not need major landscape work
done on them. Properties that need to have sod or
other major landscaping done will not have the fence
reinstalled until the work is complete.
~AA~ AM~ AA~
Crews working on additional seeding and placement
of sod will be on site beginning Wednesday, June 2.
Seeded areas will be reviewed for low and bare
areas. Additional black dirt will be brought in as
needed and bare or thin areas will be re-seeded.
Other landscaping
As the contractor moves through the neighborhood
working on turf restoration and fence reinstallation,
they will also restore any other landscape features
that may have been disturbed during construction.
Turf Maintenance
The contractor is required to maintain sod for a period
of 30 days after installation. The contractor is
required to maintain seeding areas as needed to
achieve proper growth. You will receive another
notification when the contractor's maintenance period
has ended. Even during this period, if you notice the
sodlseed area is drying out, we would appreciate your
assistance in watering.
Once established, mow your lawn to encourage root
growth. Generally, remove no more than 1l3 of the
grass height with each mowing. (Example: cut grass
when it is 31/2" high and set your mower height to 21/2
or 3".)
Thank you!
We realize the inconvenience this construction project
caused to property owners, especially with
construction crews working both in your front and
back yards. We sincerely appreciate your patience
throughout the course of this project.
Please let us know if you have any outstanding
questions or concerns about the project.
Questions?
