(at the last minute) I made the point that whether the church realizes it or not <br />they are creating an "animal Perkins" with this community garden. My "Perkins" <br />hypothesis did not receive much support from the church representatives. So, I <br />hope the City will take this impact into consideration. In support of my <br />hypothesis, I will submit the photograph (below) taken last November by Paul <br />Videen, a land owner across from Oasis Park - 2887 Wheeler St N. I am quite sure <br />that the 20,000 vehicles traveling down Larpenteur Avenue each day may feel the <br />addition of a spacious, and open, petting zoo 20 feet from the street may have an <br />impact on them.
