EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 28~' day of June 2010 at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following Members were present: Johnson, Ihlan, Pust, Roe, and Klausing; <br />and none was absent. <br />Council Member Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10824 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION <br />MONOPOLE FACILITY ON THE COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AT 2489-2499 RICE <br />STREET AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN ACCORDANCE WITH §1014.01 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE (PF10-010) <br />WHEREAS, the property at 2489-2499 Rice Street is owned by Cave and Associates, <br />Ltd., which supports the application by Clearwire; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as: <br />Cave's Oakwood Townhouses Outlot B <br />PIN: 12-29-23-14-0002 <br />WHEREAS, the applicant seeks to install a telecommunication monopole and ground- <br />mounted equipment on the commercial property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />proposed CONDITIONAL USE on Apri16, 2010, voting 7-0 to recommend approval of the use <br />based on the comments and findings of the staff report prepared for said public hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has determined that approval of the proposed <br />CONDITIONAL USE will not result in adverse impacts on the criteria considered in review of <br />requests for CONDITIONAL USE approval; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to APPROVE <br />the installation of telecommunication equipment at 2489-2499 Rice Street as a CONDITIONAL <br />USE in accordance with Section § 1014.01 of the Roseville City Code, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />a. The landscape screening from the residential properties to the west shall be <br />situated generally as proposed, relative to the telecommunication equipment. The <br />applicant shall work with staff to arrange the line of planted cypresses to ensure <br />that the facility is screened from the residences to the west and, to the extent <br />practicable, from Rice Street; <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
