<br />-2- <br /> <br />3. All police vehicles will be air conditioned as they are <br />rep I aced. <br /> <br />4. The Village accepts responsibi lity for any false arrest suits <br />brought against any officer <br /> <br />5. The Village will not require officers to standby at their homes <br />but if needed will call in to report for duty with the accented <br />payment to be made for this overtime. <br /> <br />6. The Village will reimburse officers one hundred per cent for <br />tuition fees and books for approved college accredited courses <br />successfully completed by the officer. Further, the Village <br />\<lill pay the officers who have completed these courses 40ct per <br />credit hour per month for each hour of successfully completed work. <br /> <br />7. The compensation for successfully completed college work shall not <br />be limited to courses completed while an employee of the Village. <br />All college work credited to the officer, either as an employee <br />or prior to becoming an employee, is eligible for Dayment on the <br />rate of 40</: per credit hour per month. <br /> <br />8. In the event that an officer is injured in the line of duty, the <br />Village will pay his full salary for a period of up to 60 days <br />without loss of vacation or sick leave.
