EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the ls` day of September, at 5:00 p.m. The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Doherty and Boerigter. Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: VB RESOLUTION NO. 5 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 1-1/2 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1012.02B3 (REQUIRED YARD & OPEN SPACE -SIDE OR REAR YARD ONLY) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR FRANK KONSTANTINIDES, 1911 DELLWOOD AVENUE (PF3597) WHEREAS, Frank Konstantinides, has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1012.02B3 (Required Yard & Open Space -Side and Rear Yard Only) of the Roseville City Code to allow the installation of a 8 foot privacy fence in the side yard adjacent to Roselawn Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Konstantinides property is located at 1911 Dellwood Avenue, and legally described as: Lot 14, Block 2, Roselawn Acres PIN 15-29-23-42-0071 WHEREAS, 1012.02B3 requires fences in rear and side yards to be a maximum of 6-1/2 feet in height; and WHEREAS, Mr. Konstantinides desires to install a fence along his northern property line (corner -side yard) 8 feet in height; and WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a 1 foot 6 inch VARIANCE to Section 1012.02B3 of the Roseville City Code for Frank Konstantinides to allow the installation of an 8 foot tall fence along the north (corner -side yard) property line at 1911 Dellwood Avenue, subject to the following condition: 1. The fence not exceeding a height of 8 feet measured from the existing grade to top of fence.
