EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOA OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of March, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Boerigter and <br />Mulder. <br />Variance Board Member Boerigter introduced (as amended) the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 13 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 1, 7 AND 9 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.016 <br />(RESIDENTIAL DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS -FRONT & SIDE YARD <br />SETBACKS), A 22 FOOT AND 5,172 SQ. FT. VARIANCE TO SECTION 1016.14B <br />(WATER MANAGEMENT OVERLAY DISTRICT LOT STANDARDS), 39 FOOT <br />VARIANCE TO SECTION 1016.16A (STRUCTURE DESIGN STANDARDS - <br />PLACEMENT OF STRUCTURE ON LOT), AND A 143 SQ. FT. VARIANCE TO <br />SECTION 1016.26B1(STORM WATER MANAGEMENT -IMPERVIOUS SURFACE <br />COVERAGE) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR JEFF BROWN, <br />1935 LAKE STREET (PF3624) <br />WHEREAS, Jeff Brown has requested VARIANCES to Section 1004 and 1016 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a single family residential home with attached <br />garage on a vacant parcel in Roseville; and <br />WHEREAS, the Brown property is located at 1935 Lake Street ,and legally described as: <br />North 28 feet of Lot 10 and all of Lot 9, Block 2, Garcelons Addition to St. Paul <br />PIN 01-29-23-21-0011 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Dimensional Requirements -Front & Side <br />Yard Setback) requires the Brown proposed principal structure and attached garage to be set back <br />a minimum of 30 feet from the front property line and 10 feet from the side (north south) <br />property lines; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed structure would encroach 9 feet into the required front yard <br />setback or be 21 feet from the front property line, encroach 1 foot into the south side yard setback <br />or be 9 feet from the south property line, and encroach 7 feet into the north side yard setback or <br />be 3 feet from the north property line; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1016.14B (Water Management Overlay District Lot Standards) <br />requires single family residential lots to be 100 feet in width and 15,000 sq. ft. in size; and <br />
