EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOARD OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of July, 2005, at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present:. Chair Bakeman and Members Pust, Doherty, and <br />Boerigter <br />Variance Board Member Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 19 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 107 SQ. FT. VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 <br />(MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) AND A 4 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION <br />1004.016 (RESIDENTIAL DWELLING DIMENSIONS -SIDE YARD SETBACK <br />OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR RONALD WOLF, <br />2480 MARION STREET (PF3649) <br />WHEREAS, Ron Wolf has requested a VARIANCES to Section 1004 of the Roseville <br />City Code to allow construction of a an attached garage addition that exceeds the allowable <br />impervious coverage on the lot and encroached 4 feet into the required 10 foot side yard setback; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 2480 Marion Street and legally described as: <br />Lot 2, dock 1, Cave's Oakwood Addition <br />PIN 12-29-23-14-0032 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) limits a single family <br />residential property to a maximum impervious coverage of 30% the size of the lot or parcel; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wolf seeks to construct an attached garage addition the created a 107 <br />sq. ft. overage of the 30% maximum requirement; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.016 (Residential Dwelling Dimension -Side Yard Setback) <br />requires a structure on the Wolf lot to have a minimum side yard setback of 10 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wolf seeks to construct the attached garage addition 6 feet from the <br />property line, which distance encroaches 4 feet into the required 10 foot side yard setback; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and. support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />1 <br />
