EXT CT UTES F FETING ~' T E <br />VA CE A T E CITY IT SE I.L <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 1St day of February 2006, at 5:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Doherty and <br />Boerigter <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />ESI.IN N. 31 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A V ANCE TO §1007 OF TIIE OF TIIE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR DERGER TRANSFER, 2950 LONG LADE ROAD <br />(PF3704) <br />WHEREAS, Berger Transfer has requested a VARIANCE to § 1007 (Industrial Districts) <br />of the Roseville City Code to allow the installation of a emergency generator 21 feet from the <br />front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, these property is addressed as 2950 Long Lake Road and legally described <br />as: <br />ORIGIN <br />PIN: OS-29-23-13-0010 <br />WHEREAS, City Code § 1007.01 establishes the structure front setback in any industrial <br />zone at 40 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, Berger seeks to install/construct emergency generation equipment that <br />encroaches into the required 40-foot industrial front yard setback; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.04 (Essential Services) states: Essential services shall be <br />permitted as authorized and regulated by state law and other provisions of the code, it being the <br />intention that such are exempt from the application of the zoning code; and <br />
