EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VARIANCE BOA OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2°d day of November, 2005, at 5:30 <br />p.m. <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Pust, Doherty, and <br />Boerigter <br />Variance Board Member Boerigter introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION N0.29 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 4 FOOT HEIGHT VARIANCE TO <br />SECTION 1009.03M OF THE OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR <br />LOVE FROM MINNESOTA, 2465 FAIRVIEW AVENUE (PF3685) <br />WHEREAS, Love from Minnesota has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M <br />(General Provisions -Ground Sign) of the Roseville City Code to allow the installation of a 12 <br />foot tall ground sign on the premises; and <br />WHEREAS, these property is addressed as 2465 Fairvire Avenue, and legally described <br />as: <br />The south 212 feet of the north 720 feet of the ease 410 feet of the south 1/2 of the northwest <br />'/4 of Section 9, Township 29, Range 23 -subject to road easements. <br />PIN: 09-29-23-24-0004 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1009.03M limits a Ground Sign to a maximum height of 8 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, Love from Minnesota seeks to locate a ground sign at the required set back <br />form the front property line adjacent to Fairview Avenue (15 feet) and erect a sign that <br />complements the character of the newly remodeled building (currently underway) and which sign <br />will have a maximum height of 12 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a <br />4 foot height VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M (General Provisions -Ground Signs) of the <br />Roseville City Code allowing the construction installation of a 12 foot ground sign on the <br />premises, subject to the following conditions: <br />
