EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VARIANCE BOA OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2°d day of November, 2005, at 5:30 p.m. The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Pust, Doherty, and Boerigter Variance Board Member Boerigter introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: VB RESOLUTION N0.29 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 4 FOOT HEIGHT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1009.03M OF THE OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR LOVE FROM MINNESOTA, 2465 FAIRVIEW AVENUE (PF3685) WHEREAS, Love from Minnesota has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M (General Provisions -Ground Sign) of the Roseville City Code to allow the installation of a 12 foot tall ground sign on the premises; and WHEREAS, these property is addressed as 2465 Fairvire Avenue, and legally described as: The south 212 feet of the north 720 feet of the ease 410 feet of the south 1/2 of the northwest '/4 of Section 9, Township 29, Range 23 -subject to road easements. PIN: 09-29-23-24-0004 WHEREAS, Section 1009.03M limits a Ground Sign to a maximum height of 8 feet; and WHEREAS, Love from Minnesota seeks to locate a ground sign at the required set back form the front property line adjacent to Fairview Avenue (15 feet) and erect a sign that complements the character of the newly remodeled building (currently underway) and which sign will have a maximum height of 12 feet; and WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a 4 foot height VARIANCE to Section 1009.03M (General Provisions -Ground Signs) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction installation of a 12 foot ground sign on the premises, subject to the following conditions:
