^ The magnitude of the requested VARIANCE (up to 15 feet) is too great and out of <br />character with the neighboring properties and neighborhood. <br />^ The approval of a 15 foot front yard VARIANCE, without a specific house plan <br />plotted on the parcel, could unknowingly create safety issues with the length of <br />driveway and its proximity to the street. <br />^ The plight of the land owner was due to the 2005 Minor Subdivision and not <br />specific to any unique circumstances of the parcel. <br />^ Initial options were available when the Minor Subdivision was reviewed and <br />supported that would have provided additional land area creating a larger, more <br />usable building pad, thus potentially eliminating the need for a VARIANCE. <br />The motion for the approval of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Variance <br />Board Member Doherty and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Members Bakeman, Boerigter, and Doherty; <br />And none voted against; <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly denied/passed and adopted. <br />2 <br />
