Variance Board Chair Bakeman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: FSI.,IJ~' N. 42 A RESOLUTION APPROVING V ANCES TO §1005 AND §1012 OF TIIE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR CROIX OIL COMPANY, 2151 DALE STREET (PF37~3) WHEREAS, the Croix Oil Company has requested VARIANCES to § 1005 (Business Districts) and § 1012 (General Requirements) to allow for the replacement of the existing pylon in anon-conforming location; and WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 2151 Dale Street, and legally described as: PIN: 14-29-23-11-0001 WHEREAS, Section 1005.01 requires a minimum 30-foot setback for structures (e.g., pylon signs) from public rights-of--way; and WHEREAS, Section 1012.03 requires a minimum 40-foot "visibility triangle" at intersections; and WHEREAS, Croix Oil Company seeks to construct a pylon sign within the required "visibility triangle"; and WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code if the conditions identified below are met;
