XT CT F UTES F ETNG T E <br />VAR NCE BOA T E CITY OF ROSEVILE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2°d day of May, 2007, <br />at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Acting Chair Boerigter, and Members <br />Doherty and Wozniak; <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N. 59 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES TO §1004 (RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICTS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR WILLIAM LOOIS, <br />1410 JUDITH AVENUE (PF07-023) <br />WHEREAS, William Loomis has requested VARIANCES to § 1004 (Residential <br />Districts); and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 1410 Judith Avenue, and legally <br />described as: <br />ROSE PARK LOT 5 BLOCK 2 <br />PIN: 03-29-23-34-0030 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01 A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) allows <br />impervious surfaces to cover up to 30% of a residential lot; and <br />WHEREAS, William Loomis seeks to increase the impervious coverage to <br />approximately 33% of the lot area, a 250-square-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01E (Pre-existing Setbacks) requires a front yard <br />principal structure setback of 40 feet on this property; and <br />WHEREAS, William Loomis seeks to decrease the front yard setback to 34 feet, a <br />6-foot variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 250-square-foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.O1A6, and a 6-foot <br />VARIANCE to Section 1004.01E of the City code, subject to the following conditions: <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
