EXT CT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VA NCE BOA F THE CITY OF OSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2°d day of May, 2007, <br />at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Boerigter, Doherty, and Wozniak. <br />Variance Board Member Doherty introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />VB RESOLUTION N0.58 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO §1016.26B1 (STORM WATER <br />MANAGEMENT -IMPERVIOUS SURFACE COVERAGE) OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR RICHARD BROWNE, <br />397 OWASSO BOULEVARD SOUTH (PF07-022) <br />WHEREAS, Richard Browne has requested a VARIANCE to § 1016 of the <br />Roseville City Code; and <br />WHEREAS, this property is addressed as 397 Owasso Boulevard South, and <br />legally described as: <br />THE SOUTHWESTERLY 70 FEET OF LOT 3, <br />A. K. BARNUM'S GARDEN LOTS <br />PIN: 01-29-23-21-0007 <br />WHEREAS, § 1016.26B 1 (Storm Water Management -Impervious Surface <br />Coverage) allows impervious surfaces to cover up to 25% of a residential lot located <br />within the Shoreland Management Overlay District; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Browne seeks to redevelop the existing 1941 home, detached <br />garage and paved area with a new single family home, attached garage and paved area; <br />and <br />WHEREAS; the proposal by Mr. Browne seeks to increase the impervious <br />coverage to approximately 30% of the lot area, a 611 sq. ft. variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Division has concluded that "hardships" are present and <br />support can be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to <br />APPROVE a 611 sq. ft.
