REQUEST FOR COUNCII, ACTION <br />Date: O1/22/O1 <br />Item No: I-2 <br />Department ApprovaL Manag� Approval: Agenda Section: <br />� � LAND USE <br />Item Description: Ryan/Veritas Amendment to Planned Unit Development and Review of Voluntary <br />Environmental Assessment Worksheet for Office Campus Expansion (PF3283) <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br />Veritas, through its development partner Ryan Companies, has proposed PUD amendment of <br />122,000 additional square feet to the total building area of the 47-acre Centre Pointe Planned <br />Unit Development. If approved, this PUD Amendment would a11ow Veritas to complete its <br />campus with 2 additional floors on each of 2, two-story buildings. Each of these two <br />previously approved buildings would expand from 2 stories and 61,000 5.f. to 4 stories and <br />122,000 s.£ A Voluntary Environmental Assessment Worksheet has also been submitted to the <br />City for publication, comment, and action by the City. <br />2.0 BACKGROUND <br />2.1 The current total permitted square footage of building area in the Ryan Centre Pointe PUD <br />is 680,000 s.f. (as originally approved in 1997 and amended in 2000); with the new proposal <br />the total Ryan PUD building area would be appro�mately 802,000 s. f.
