EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1�0$EYILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof> a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the <br />City Hall on Monday, the 12th day of February, 2001 at �;3� p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. xxxx <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRIORITIES FOR ROSEVILLE AND RAMSEY <br />COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS (CDBG) AND HOME <br />INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP (HOME) FUNDS <br />WHEREAS> the Roseville Comprehensive Plan and Housing Policy adopted by <br />the City Council provides specific goals to provide a variety of housing types> improve <br />the quality of below average housing unites> fill the gaps to enable all stages of life <br />cycle housing for entry level to senior citizens> assist entry level family housing and <br />retain and expand the business community; and <br />WHEREAS> the City of Roseville has> since 1985> continued to be an active <br />participant in the Ramsey County CDBG and HOME Programs; and <br />WHEREAS> annually the City Council establishes goals for housing and <br />economic development and recommends priorities for the Ramsey County CDBG and <br />HOME project funding. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE �' RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville hereby establishes the following five City of Roseville and County CDBG/HO <br />ME housing and economic development funding priorities (1 is highest rating> 5 is <br />lowest rating) : <br />1, Rehabilitation of owner-occupied single family housing <br />2. Homeownership for first time buyers who are low to moderate income <br />3, New affordable housing construction — senior/special needs <br />4, Rehabilitation of rental properties <br />5.
