JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA'S TEMPORARY <br />UTILIZATION OF A CITY OF ROSEVILLE EMPLOYEE <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into by and between the CITY OF ROSEVII,LE, a <br />Minnesota municipal corporation, and the CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, a Minnesota <br />municipal corporation, is effective upon the execution of this Agreement by the named officers <br />of both cities. <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, Little Canada is in need of periodic temporary computer and other technical <br />support services; <br />WHEREAS, Roseville has management information system and other technical <br />employees that are able to provide the services required by Little Canada and; <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the State to <br />enter into 7oint Powers Agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually stipulated and agreed to as follows: <br />1. SERVICES. <br />A. The City of Roseville sha11 provide, on an hourly basis, qualified management <br />information systems employees ("Employees") to perform computer and related technical <br />services required by the City of Little Canada. The City of Roseville sha11 be solely responsible <br />for compensating the assigned Employee(s) engaged in providing computer and technical <br />services under this Agreement, including any overtime wages incurred, as well as any insurance <br />or employee benefits provided under the policies or agreements of the City of Roseville. <br />B. The City of Little Canada will provide the necessary office, equipment, and <br />supplies for the assigned Employee(s) to provide the services required hereunder and will bear <br />sis�z 1 <br />
