Ramsey County Sheriff. <br />6. Except as otherwise provided, the CITY shall not be called upon to assume any liability <br />for direct payment of any salaries, wages, tips, or other compensation to any COUNTY <br />personnel performing services hereunder for said CITY, and the COUNTY hereby assumes <br />said liabilities. <br />7. Except as otherwise specified, the CITY shall not be liable for compensation or indemnity <br />of any COUNTY employee for any injury or sickness arising out of their employment, and <br />the COUNTY hereby agrees to hold harmless the CITY against any such claim. <br />8. The CITY, its officers and employees, shall not be deemed to assume any liability for the <br />intentional or negligent acts of the COUNTY or the COUNTY's employees performing <br />services pursuant to this agreement, and the COUNTY shall hold the CITY, its officers and <br />employees harmless from, and shall defend the CITY, its officers and employees, against, <br />any claim for damages arising out of the COUNTY's performance of this agreement, to the <br />limits of liability as set forth in Minn. Stat. Section 466.04. <br />9. The COUNTY, its officers and employees shall not be deemed to assume any liability for <br />intentional or negligent acts of the CITY or of any officer, agent or employee thereof, and <br />the CITY shall hold the COUNTY and its Officers and employees harmless from, and shall <br />defend the COUNTY and its officers and employees against, any claim for damages arising <br />out of the CITY's performance of this agreement, to the limits of liability as set forth in Minn. <br />Stat. Section 466.04. <br />10. The Ramsey County Sheriffs Department shall bill the CITY the sum of $35.00 hourly in <br />reimbursement for the cost of providing services under this agreement and such billings will <br />take place at the end of the patrol season. Total billings for the 2001 summer Patrol <br />coverage will not exceed $�Q-00 <br />l��i�-S <br />11. It is understood that prosecutions for violations of ordinance or state statute, together <br />with the disposition of all fines collected pursuant thereto, shall be in accordance with the <br />Ramsey County Municipal Court Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 488A. <br />12. The supplemental coverage identified in paragraph 3 shall be in addition to existing <br />water patrol coverage now provided by the Ramsey County Sheriffs Office. <br />13. Either party may terminate this agreement upon 30 days written notice to the other party <br />at any time during the term of this agreement. Upon such termination, the Ramsey County <br />Sheriff shall be paid for services actually rendered under the agreement until date of <br />termination. <br />14. The term of this agreement will be May 1, 2001 through September 30, 2001. <br />15. Any alterations, variations, modifications, or waivers of provisions of this agreement, <br />shall only be valid when they have been reduced to writing, signed by authorized <br />representatives of the COUNTY and the CITY and attached to the original of this <br />agreement. <br />
