9. Proiect Location <br />The proposed Natural Resource Inventory and Management Plan project will encompass <br />Roseville and a select adjacent area, including: <br />❑ Inventory and Management Plans forAcorn, Reservoir, Central, Langton Lake, and Villa <br />Parks <br />o MLCCS digitizing for all of Roseville and select portions of Maplewood and St. Paul <br />County: <br />Ramsey <br />Township/Range and Sections: T29N, R23W, SEC. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 <br />and portions of 15, 16, 17; <br />as well as T29N, R22W, Sections 18, <br />Municipality: Roseville <br />Project Area Map shown as Attachment #I <br />12, 13, 14, <br />19, and 30 <br />10. Proiect Size: <br />Estimated: 11,000 acres <br />NOTE: includes MLCCS on all 11,000 acres, and approximately 1,400 acres of area for <br />assessment for the Inventory and Management Plans <br />11. Proposed Time line: <br />Start Date: July, 2001 Completion Date: May, 2002 <br />12. Summarv of Kev Proaosed Activities <br />Please see Draft Work Plan shown as Attachment #2: <br />13. Proposed Deliverables <br />In addition to an Interim Report, the following products will result from the Roseville <br />Natural Resource Inventory and Management Plan: <br />.� <br />.� <br />14. <br />MLCCS Coverage for all of City of Roseville, plus select portions of Maplewood <br />and St. Paul. MLCCS polygons will be digitized in ArcView and made available to <br />MN DNR, Ramsey County SWCD, and others such as Watershed Districts. The <br />portions of Maplewood and St. Paul to be digitized close a critical gap between <br />Roseville and areas already finished to the east. <br />In-depth Report summarizing field inventory results and detailed Natural <br />Resource ManagementlEcological Restoration strategies for uplands, <br />wetlands, and Langton and Bennett Lakes in the five parks studied. <br />Adherence to Grant Proaram Criteria <br />Ecological Significance <br />The proposed Natural Resource Inventory and Management Plan area is composed of <br />Roseville Natural Resource Inventory and Management Plan 2 <br />200 1 Metro Green ways Grant Application <br />
