Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br />Roseville City Council <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 26�` day of 7une, 2001, at <br />6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following members were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN MAP DESIGNATION FROM `B" (BUSINESS) AND "I" (INDUSTRIAL) <br />TO `BP" (BUSINESS PARI� FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE <br />TWIN LAKES BUSINESS PARK, BEING GENERALLY LOCATED ALL <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEVII,LE, MINNESOTA, EAST OF CLEVELAND <br />AVENUE, NORTH ON COUNTY ROAD C, WEST OF SNELLING AVENUE <br />AND SOUTH OF BRENNER AVENUE AND COUNTY ROAD C-2, AS <br />DESCRIBED AND DEPICTED ON ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A" <br />(Twin Lakes Business Park, PF3232) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville Planning Commission, at a public hearing held <br />on December 13, 2000, received a request from the City of Roseville for approval of an <br />amendment to the Roseville Comprehensive Plan for a Business Park (`BP"), known as <br />Twin Lakes Business Park, as described in E�ibit "A" for the redevelopment of the 275- <br />acre area; and, <br />WHEREAS, the proposal requires a Comprehensive Plan Map Designation <br />Amendment from Business ("B") and Industrial ("I") to Business Park (`BP"); and, <br />WHEREAS, a Business Park has been defined as: A Business Park is an office <br />park with a mix of service retail and housing that would serve as a more livable campus <br />setting. It is defined as a geographically identifiable area which contains an <br />architecturally consistent mix of office, office-laboratory, office-showroom-warehousing <br />bio-technical, biomedical, high-tech software and hardware production uses with support <br />services such as limited retail, health, fitness, lodging and multifamily housing; and, <br />WHEREAS, after the public hearing the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval to the City Council, of the proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment, based on <br />findings in the staff report dated January 12, 2000; and, <br />
