a) Utilize dedication of easements, outright purchase, and purchase of development <br />rights to preserve open space near or adjacent to lakes and shore land. <br />b) Use decked parking and shared parking easements to maximize use of existing <br />parking and driveways. Retain a minimum of 15% of each site in green space <br />and/or ponding. <br />c) Plant street boulevard and median areas, consistent with the City Master Tree <br />Plan, as part of each redevelopment project and especially in parking areas. <br />d) Require newly developed parcels to incorporate year-round aesthetically pleasing <br />native plantings as part of the landscape plan, where possible. <br />8 <br />
