EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of June 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 19 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 703.04B1A AND A <br />5 FOOT VARIANCE FROM SECTION 703.04B9 OF THE ROSEVII,LE CITY CODE FOR <br />WII,LIAM OLSON, 3188 WEST OWASSO BOULEVARD (PF 3309) <br />WHEREAS, William Olson has requested a 19 foot variance from Section 703.04B1a and a 5 <br />foot variance from Section 703.04B9 of the Roseville City Code in coordination with City's Pavement <br />Management Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Olson's property is located at 3 188 West Owasso Boulevard and legally <br />described at as: <br />Lot 3, Lake Owasso Park, Ramsey County, Minnesota (PID # 022923110001) <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04B1a requires a 26 foot ma�mum driveway apron width in the <br />public right-of-way; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 703.04B9 requires a minimum driveway side yard setback of 5 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mr. Jakel's existing driveway is 60 feet in width to access the existing <br />detached garage and access towards the home; and <br />WHEREAS; said existing driveway lies very near the eastern and western side yard property <br />lines; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the variance <br />request by Mr. Olson and recommended (6-0) to approve the request, based on findings outlined in <br />Section 4 of the project report dated 6/12/O1. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant William <br />Olson a 18 foot variance from Section 703.04B4 and a 5 foot variance from Section 703.04B9 of the <br />Roseville City Code based on the findings in Section 4 of the project report dated 6/26/O1. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
