I0. The required emission limits for acid gases (sulfur dio�de and hydrogen chloride), particulate <br />matter, opacity, metals (including cadmium, lead and mercury), organics (dio�ns and furans), <br />carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides from crematories have not been established in part due to <br />the limited information a�ailable to environmental protection agencies (Source IEE Co./All <br />Crematory). <br />II. As submitted by the applicant, the proposed use would negatively affect the character of the <br />neighborhood due to the nature of the proposed use, the intensity of the proposed use, the <br />pro�mity of residential properties, natural resources, and public facilities abutting or in close <br />pro�mity to the subject parcel, and the inability to fashion practical terms and conditions for <br />the proposed use to protect the general health, safety and public welfare of the neighborhood <br />and community. <br />NOW TI�REFORE BE IT FURTI�R RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, NTinnesota, that the application to issue a conditional use permit to Roselawn Cemetery to <br />allow the construction of crematory facility on property located at 803 Larpenteur Avenue is hereby <br />denied. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in fa�or thereo£ <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />2001. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted on the 27`h day of August <br />3 <br />
