8.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br />8.1 On July 11,200 1, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding <br />the Boucher 108 square foot variance to Section 1004.O1A3 and the conditional use <br />permit for allowance of a 1,008 square foot accessory structure. <br />8.2 No citizens were present to address the Commission regarding the Boucher request; <br />however, the project packet did include the signatures of a11 but one adjacent property <br />owner, indicating full support of he request. The Commission was supportive of the <br />alternative solution and recommended (7-0) approval of the request (see draft minutes). <br />8.3 On August 13, 2001, the Planning Commission held the public hearing on the 176 square <br />foot variance to Section 1004.O1A5, at which hearing no citizens were present to address <br />the Commission. <br />8.4 Two Planning Commissioners were concerned about the size of the proposed accessory <br />structure being larger than the existing house, indicating they opposed the request. The <br />Commission recommended (5-2) approval of the request (see draft minutes). <br />9. 0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCII, ACTION <br />9.1 Adopt a resolution approving a 108 square foot variance to Section 1004.O1A3 of the <br />Roseville City Code, based of the comments and findings listed in section 3, 4 and 6 <br />of the project report dated August 27, 2001; and <br />9.2 Adopt a resolution approving a resolution approving a 176 square foot variance to <br />Section 1004.O1A5 of the Roseville City Code, based on the comments and findings <br />in section 3, 4, and 6 of the project report dated August 27, 2001; and <br />9.3 Adopt a resolution approving a conditional use permit to allow the construction of a <br />1,008 square foot detached accessory building, based on the comments and findings <br />in section 3, 5, and 6 of the project report dated August 27, 2001; <br />9.4 All for properiy located at 1133 Laurie Road. <br />Prepared by.
