2000 Pavement 1�Ianagement Prog�'am: City Project P-00-04 <br />The general nature of City Project P-00-04 now being assessed is for: <br />Cap sewer and water services: <br />02-29-23-12-0035 <br />Sanitary sewer service: <br />12-29-23-13-0021 . <br />Oral or written objections by any properiy owner will be considered at the hearing. <br />An owner may appeal an assessment to district court pursuant to Minnesota Statute 3 429.081 by <br />serving notice of the appeal upon the Mayor or Manager of the City within 30 days after the <br />adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten (10) days tier <br />service upon the Mayor and Manager. No appeal may be taken as to the amount of any <br />assessment adopted unless a written objection signed by the affected properiy owners is filed with <br />the City Manager prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the <br />hearing. <br />Pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 43 5.193 to § 43 5.195, the Council may, in its discretion, defer <br />the payment of this special assessment for any homestead properiy owned by a person 65 years of <br />age or older or retired by virtue of a permanent and total disability for whom it would be a <br />hardship to make the payments. When deferment of the special assessment has been granted and <br />is terminated for any reason provided in that law, a11 amounts accumulated plus applicable interest <br />becomes due. Any assessed properiy owner meeting the requirements of that law and the <br />resolution adopted under it may, within 30 days of the confn-rnation of the assessment, or upon <br />reaching the age to become eligible for the deferment, apply to the City Manager on the <br />prescribed form for such deferment of payment of this special assessment on his properiy. <br />Dated: August 27, 2001 BY ORDER OF TI� CITY COL7NCIL, <br />Neal Beets, City Manager <br />
