DRAFT RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, By Resolution 2001-129, the Ramsey County Board authorized the County <br />Manager to work with the cities and school districts to develop a joint powers agreement that <br />provides for reimbursement to the County based on the number of vote tabulators used in each city; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Staff from Property Records and Revenue and the County Attorney's Office <br />worked on a draft joint powers agreement (JPA) incorporating the Board's direction; and <br />WHEREAS, The draft Joint Powers Agreement was sent to city managers, city administrators, <br />city clerks and city election clerks; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff inet with the municipal officials to review the draft, and based upon <br />discussion, the Joint Powers Agreement was amended; Now, Therefore, Be It <br />RESOLVED, The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners hereby approves the Joint Powers <br />Agreement for Election System Replacement; and Be It Further <br />RESOLVED, The Board authorizes staff to send copies of the approved Joint Powers <br />Agreement to each Ramsey County Municipality requesting their approval <br />
