EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNI�IIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />* * �* * * ,� * * * * � <br />Pursuant to due call and notice t ereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly heid on the 27th day of January, <br />1997, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were pr�sent: Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, Wski, and Wall, and <br />the following were absent: Non . <br />Member Wiski introduced the fo �lowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />ADVIS <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City <br />and 9218 regarding appointmi <br />SOLUTION N0. 9372 <br />COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS <br />nCil adopted Resolutions No. 6112, 6636, 6950, 8401, <br />to Advisory Commissions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Cou�ncil wisf�es t� amend the appointment policy; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE; <br />and 9218 hereby are r�scind�d. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, <br />appointments be adopted: <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City of Roseville has five ; <br />Parks and Recreation, P�anning, <br />advisory groups as needed. <br />VED, that Resolutions No. 6112, 6636, 6950, 8401, <br />the following policy regarding Advisory Commission <br />ing Advisory Commissions: Ethics, Human Rights, <br />Poilice Civil Service. The City also establishes other <br />Numerous Roseville residents have volunteered thei� time and slcills serving as <br />Commission members. The eff rts and commitment of these volunteers have been an <br />important ingredient in Roseville' quality of life. <br />'� ' 11 ► <br />It is the intent of this policy to es�blish a fair and open notification and selection process <br />which encourages all Roseville sidents to apply for appointment. <br />
