Resolution No. 9372 <br />If a current Commission me <br />the following procedure will <br />Page 3 <br />nber's ten is expiring and is eligible for reappointment, <br />Ibe used. <br />A. One hundred and twen (120) days prior to the expiration of a term, the CounciC <br />shall be advised of th attendance record of the individual whose term is <br />expiring. The Council ill also be pcovided with written comments from the <br />Chairperson of the Co mission regarding the reappoir�tment of the individual. <br />At that time, the Counci will consider the reappointment of the individual. <br />B. Should the Council det �rminethatthe individual merits reappointment, that <br />�person will becontacte to determine if helshe wishes to seek reappointment. <br />If the incumbent does seek reappointment, the Council will consider that <br />reappointment at the firs regular Council meeting afterninety(90)days priorto <br />the expiration of the ter . <br />C. Should the incumbent not wish to be reappointed or should the Council <br />determine that the indi idual does nat merit reappointment, the Council will <br />follow the procedure for filling vacancies as described in I. above. <br />The Council may use the procE <br />appointments to other advisory g <br />: ►i ►i <br />putlined in Sections 1. and II. above for making <br />, committees, task forces, etc. <br />Members of all Advisory Commissi ns may serve a maximum of two full consecutive four <br />year terms or three full consecuti ve three year terms. The Council may reappoint a person <br />for a period not exceeding one addi ional year if the Council, by four-fifths vote, determines <br />that reappointment is in the best i erest of such Commission and the City. <br />Themotionfortheadoptionofthe oregoingresolutionwasdulysecondedbyMember <br />Goedeke, and upon a vote be ng taken thereon, the iollowing voted in favor thereof; <br />Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, Wiski, nd Wall, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. <br />WH EREU PON said resolution was�declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
