REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION Date: 08/27/01 Item No: C-1 Department Approval: Man er A proved: Agenda Section: �/ 1 �Y �� 2(� CONSENT Item Description: City initiated request for a 60-day plan review extension regarding the request by Robert Reichenbach (Variance from Section 1004.01A6 and 10004.01E) for property located at 1858 Hamline Avenue (PF3334). 1.0 REQUESTED ACTION 1.1 The Community Development Department is seeking an e�tension to the 60-day plan review time line in order to receive a properiy survey to determine the magnitude of the requested variances. 2.0 BACKGROUND 2.1 On August 8, 2001, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended to approve the Reichenbach variance requests subject to the provision of a survey to be reviewed by the Community Development Department for the determination of exact variance figures (distance and square footage). 2.2 As of the printing of this report, the Community Development Department did not receive the necessary/required survey in order to complete the project report for City Council consideration. 2.2 Further, with the 60-day plan review deadline to expire on September 15, 2001, the Community Development Department has determined that the Planning Commission's action of August 8, 2001, warrants the review e�tension. 3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION 3.1 In order to properly provide the City Council with proper information necessary to fully consider the Reichenbach request, the Community Development Department is requesting a 60-day plan review e�tension pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99. 4.0 SUGGESTED COUNCII, ACTION 4.1 Adopt a resolution to approve a 60-day e�tension to the plan review deadline for the request by Robert Reichenbach (PF3334) from September 15 to November 14, 2001.
