� <br />� <br />Central Park Foundation <br />Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting <br />August23, 20017 p.m. <br />RosevilleActivityCenter <br />Present: Bell, Bloes, Bierscheid, Gaul, P. �ohnson, T Johnson, Klaus, K�'ienke, Mastel, Mattson, <br />Mog, Rog, and Zibell. <br />1. Meeting called to order by Vice-President Tom Johnson at 7:05 p.m. <br />2. Mastel moved and Bell seconded to approve the minutes of the July 20, 2001 meeting Motion <br />passed. <br />3. Treasure Mattson presented the Treasurer's report noting an assets balance of $460,280.77. <br />Gaul moved and P. Johnson seconded to accept the Treasurer's Report. Motion passed. <br />4. Proj ects 200 1-2 (additional sodding near water feature) and 200 1-3 (re-construction of <br />Celebration Walk) were presented by Bierscheid. Bell moved and Mattson seconded to <br />approve projects. Motion passed. <br />S. Bierscheid ga�e a report on the 2001 Septemberfest planning including menu, program, <br />entertainment and logistics. The Board requested that at least two tickets be sent to those being <br />recognized on the program. <br />7. Bell moved and Rog seconded that the Central Park Arboretum be named the Roseville Central <br />Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum. The Board discussed the pros and cons of the request. Motion <br />passed. <br />8. Rog moved and Mastel seconded that Treasurer Matson open enough bank accounts at separate <br />banks to insure that no more than $100,000 is in each bank Motion passed. <br />9.
