These contributions have included: . Purchase and installation of a decorative water fountain in the Central Park Arboretum by the Friends of Roseville Parks. . The re-painting of the Roseville Arena spearheaded by the Roseville Area Youth Association led on this project by Kathy Kohn and financially supported by the Roseville VFW. . The re-conditioning of a nature trail in the prairie area of Reservoir Woods Park by Eagle Scout Adam Godbout. . The installation of a new batting cage at the Central Park Legion Baseball Field by Steve Hallon and financed by the Roseville VFW. POLICY OBJECTIVE The City of Roseville encourages citizens to participate in improvements to the park system thereby expanding the resources available for providing quality facilities for all to use. FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS None. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the recognition the Friends of Roseville Parks, the Roseville Area Youth Association and member Kathy Kohn, Eagle Scout Adam Godbout, Steve Hanon and the Roseville VFW for their generous contributions to the City of Roseville Parks and Recreation system.
