Member Rhody eneouraged innovation. <br />Chair Rhody supports owner u►1d resident /�lanning. <br />8.1 The Commission recommended approval of a ZONING AMENDMENT from the <br />e�sting `B-3" (General Business) and "R-2" (Two Family) zoning districts to a miYed <br />use residential planned unit development (R-PUD) with an underlying zoning of "R-8" <br />(Nlobile Home Park) which allows a mix of manufactured housing, traditional housing, <br />and limited seasonal recreational vehicle parking and accessory uses within the (9.1 acre) <br />properiy known as the Roseville Mobile Home Park located at 2599 Lexington Avenue <br />based on the findings outlined in Sections 6.0 of the project report and the comments <br />from their public hearing and discussion. <br />8.2 The Commission also recommended approval of the GENERAL CONCEPT <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN that establishes design standards and development parameters <br />under which the Roseville Mobile Home Park must develop or redevelop on the 9.1 acre <br />parcel, located at 2599 Lexington Avenue. The Commission understood that the effective <br />date of such a planned unit development would not occur until after the application <br />submission and final approval of the planned unit development agreement and <br />publication of the PUD ordinance. No new construction may occur before the effective <br />date of the ordinance, except as approved by the Council. <br />9.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />By motion, approve the FIRST READING of a zoning amendment from the existing <br />`B-3" (General Business) and "R-2" (Two Family) zoning districts to a miYed use <br />residential planned unit development (R-PUD) with an underlying zoning of "R-8" <br />(Nlobile Home Park) which allows a mix of manufactured housing, traditional housing, <br />and limited seasonal recreational vehicle parking and accessory uses within the (9.1 acre) <br />property known as the Roseville Mobile Home Park located at 2599 Lexington Avenue. <br />b.
