EXTRACT OF NIINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCII, CITY OF ROSEVII,LE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, NTinnesota, County of Ramsey, NTinnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Tuesday, the 1 lth day of December, 2001, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: and the following members were absent: . Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 7�:XXX RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ZIMMERMAN LAKE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT NUMBER 01-18 Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Wednesday, November 28, 2001, at 11:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER Jay Bros., Inc. Engineering & Construction Innovations, Inc. Veit & Comnanv Inc. Inc. AMOUNT $495,303.80 $511,500.00 $624,748.00 $738,254.00 $777,136.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Jay Bros., Inc. of Forest Lake, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $495,303.80; and NOW, TI�REFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 2. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with 7ay Bros., Inc., for $495,303.80 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to a11 bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the ne�t lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
