Date: 12/11/O1 <br />Item: B-2 <br />��y� <br />City Council Minutes <br />Regular Meeting of November 26, 2001 <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members present 6:34 p.m. <br />(voting order): Maschka, Mastel, Goedeke, Klausing and Kysylyczyn. Absent: Roll Call <br />none. <br />� <br />I��I <br />F. <br />Communications and Public Comment <br />Beets reported about the City's responses to the concerns of Kris <br />Krengel, Chuck Nagel and Scott Brannon regarding various City <br />issues. <br />Based on audience input, Kysylyczyn, without objection, moved F-6 <br />to the top of the Agenda. And then serially, as each respective item <br />was concluded, Kysylyczyn, without objection, moved forward <br />agenda items in the following order: H-1, I-1, I-2, and E-1. <br />Following Item E-1, the Council followed the listed agenda order of <br />items. <br />Reports And Recommendations <br />Agenda Changes <br />F-6 Schwartz reported on residents' complaints about RAHS student Resolution 9954 <br />parking in adjacent neighborhoods, and their comments since Prohibiting Parking <br />additional signs were erected on additional streets. Kysylyczyn Sextant Av and <br />asked about the cost of the no-parking signs. Goedeke commented Sheldon Street <br />on the history of the student parking situation at RAHS. Klausing <br />asked about the behavior of the students parking these cars. Mastel <br />asked if the school could not cooperate with the City in taking care <br />of this problem. Kysylyczyn expressed his disappointment with <br />RAHS regarding their parking operations. Goedeke commented on <br />the difficulty of this issue. Carol Camp, resident, spoke about the <br />inappropriate parking of cars in front of resident mailboxes and trash <br />cans. Wes Lenten, resident, spoke about litter left in neighborhoods <br />by student parkers, and jeopardy to children's safety. Len Heller, <br />resident, spoke about the residential character of the affected <br />neighborhoods. Jen Petterson, resident, spoke about child safety in <br />the neighborhood. David Norgaard, resident, spoke about increased <br />traffic, and traffic violations, in the vicinity. Tom Hughes, resident, <br />spoke in favor of a long-term solution to the student parking <br />situation. Steve Burwell, resident, spoke about the history of <br />parking on Albert Street. <br />
