2.2 Section 2— Demographics Profile: The demographic profile is in the process of being <br />rewritten and will include Census 2000 information about Roseville. The updated <br />information will be incorporated into the 2001 affirmation and a complete re-write of this <br />Section will occur in mid-2002 after the final census reports are available. <br />2.3 Section 3— Goals & Policies: NTinor changes in the goals & policy section will occur to <br />be consistent with recent master plans, i.e., Twin Lakes Business Park, Arona-Hamline. <br />2.4 Section 4— Land Use Planning District: The E� Land Use Map illustrates e�•stin� <br />land uses, including a spreadsheet breakdown of each designation by area and percent of <br />total City land area. <br />The Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map illustrates all future land use designations <br />based on City approvals to December 3 1, 2001 including a spreadsheet breakdown of <br />each designation by area and percent of total city land area. <br />The changes that occurred in this section include: the modification for Planning District 6 <br />regarding Sam Ca�e & Associates (County Road B) amending the land use designation <br />from Business (B) to High Density Residential (HD); Planning District 14 regarding <br />Brentwood Office Condominiums (Le�ngton & 36) amending the land use designation <br />from Low Density Residential (LD) to Business (B); Planning District 10 amending the <br />land use designation of the Twin Lakes area from Business and Industrial to Business <br />Park, a new land use designation. <br />2.5 Section 5— Transportation: For the Year 2001 all interstate and county road design and <br />functions as they related to adjoining land use, as well as transportation systems, are <br />currently under review by the North Metro I-35 W Corridor Coalition. Amendments will <br />be implemented in 2002. In 2001, the traffic counts on I-35W (152,000 peak) and <br />Highway 36 (82,000 peak) were revised by MnDOT. <br />2.6 Section 6— Housing & Neighborhood Plans: The City continued its contract with the <br />Housing Resource Center (HRC) in 200 1 through the I-35 W Coalition. This contract <br />affords residential properiy owners an opportunity to seek information regarding home <br />improvements and financial assistance. <br />2.7 Section 7— Economic & Redevelopment Plans: This section will contain building <br />permit activity for the Year 200 1. However, this information will not be a�ailable until <br />after January 1, 2002. Also contained in this section are a number of redevelopment <br />projects. Listed below is a progress report of those projects: <br />. City Center Task Force: Currently in the process of a needs analysis and space <br />programming.
