City Council Minutes —12/17/O1 <br />DRAFT Copy Page 8 <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Klausing, Mastel and <br />Kysylyczyn. Nays: Goedeke. Abstained: Mastel (Mastel <br />indicated she currently lives in the Mobile Home Park that is <br />the subject of this agenda item.) <br />J-2 Welsch outlined the history of this development proposal and <br />the change from a restaurant to an office building. Applicants <br />were present. <br />Maschka moved, Klausing seconded, to adopt a resolution <br />approving the voluntary draft EAW final decision of "no <br />negative impact" and the distribution of the decision to the <br />Environmental Quality Board, state agencies and other <br />commentors. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Klausing, <br />Mastel and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br />Maschka moved, Goedeke seconded, after a second reading of <br />the PUD amendment and ordinance, to take final action to <br />approve the Solutia Office Building PUD Amendment and <br />Ordinance. Roll Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Klausing, <br />Mastel and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br />J-3 Welsch presented his report. This proposal creates greater <br />consistency between the Zoning Code and the Comprehensive <br />Plan. Klausing asked about the effect of this change. Goedeke <br />spoke to the history of the B-6 Zoning designation; and he <br />asked about the impact of this change on the quality of the <br />materials used to construct buildings within the B-6 Zone. The <br />first reading was held. <br />K. <br />Klausing moved, Mastel seconded, to waive the second reading <br />and adopt an ordinance approving the proposed te� <br />amendments to City Code Section 1005.07 (the "B-6", "Office <br />Park District") and rename it "B-6", "Mixed Use Business <br />Park", which is consistent with the purpose and intent of the <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan definition and designation. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Goedeke, Maschka, Klausing, Mastel and <br />Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br />Reports and Recommendations (Continued, if necessary) <br />L.
