In spite of the very short time period you requested, we have managed to <br />put our comments on paper for your review. Please keep in mind that the attached comments are <br />in draft form and have not been submitted to the RCC board at this time. We will provide you <br />with a final draft of our comments in due time. <br />I would appreciate your written response as well as your comments to this draft at your earliest <br />convenience. Although you declined my offer to attend the RCC board meeting on January 2 due <br />to your preparation for the swearing-in ceremony on January 3, that offer is still open and the <br />RCC board would be happy to meet with you if you can make it. <br />While some of the comments are quite critical, I trust that you will not take them personally as <br />they are not intended to be an affront. We make these comments in the spirit of frank and open <br />discussion and expect no less from you in return. <br />
