Additional Comments Received on Draft Council Rules and Procedures <br />(The following comments were called in to me and I did my best to write down their <br />concerns. l asked them to provide written comments, however, l did not receive any by the <br />December 31, 2001 deadline, except from Mr. Schrenker.) <br />Name Address Date Comments <br />Lillian Chiarella 17p8 Millwood 12/19/01 Called to tell me she did not want to <br />give Mayor any power and that is <br />why she did not vote for the Charter <br />Mark Battis 1413 W. Eldridge 12/18/01 Called to objected to Mayor having <br />any power. Believes these rule are <br />violating ethic laws and he wilf be <br />watching us. <br />Bill Schrenker <br />Joe Smith <br />2810 Farrington <br />895 Transit <br />12/26/01 Called and wanted me to talk to the <br />RCC group on the Rules. Bill told <br />me the RCC has about 15 active <br />members. I could not do it the night <br />he requested. I sent him a letter <br />asking for written comments on the <br />Draft rules by December 31, 2001. I <br />also dropped a copy of the letter off <br />at his house. He provided <br />comments and that are attached. <br />12/28/01 Called to tell me these rules scare <br />him very much and he is very upset. <br />Also he feels it is very unwise for me <br />to try to change things. He advised <br />me in general, that as a new Council <br />member, I should sit back and wait 6 <br />months before trying to make any <br />changes. <br />
