All Cities in the <br />metropolitan area were required to submit their current plan for review by the <br />Metropolitan Council by December 31, 1998. Roseville did submit its 1998 plan <br />and received a formal positive review. And, since 1994, the City continues to <br />update its plan annually. <br />IL Comprehensive Plan Annual Affirmation/Amendment Process <br />The annual process to amend Roseville's Comprehensive Plan begins in June. If you are <br />interested in proposing a change to the Plan, please refer to the following list of possible <br />amendments, and the Citizen's Guide to Roseville Comprehensive Plan and Annual <br />Affirmation/Amendment Process. W HAT IS THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ANNUAL AFFIRMATION AND AMENDMENT <br />PROCESS? <br />Affirmation. Each year Roseville consolidates and affirms all changes made in its City <br />Comprehensive Plan during the past year. This is an effort to keep all changes together <br />in an annual update, keeping the Plan current. The changes may include new policies or <br />revisions made to maps and statistics within the Plan. By a review and adoption process <br />at the end of the calendar year, the City officially adopts and includes those changes in <br />the Plan document. <br />Amendment. The amendment process is an opportunity for the City Council, Planning <br />Commission, individuals, groups, or City Departments to propose a change to <br />Roseville's Comprehensive Plan. The current Plan was adopted in September of 1994. <br />As the Planning Commission and City Council work with the Plan, they have found <br />that amendments are necessary to address changing conditions and to reflect on-go��E�, <br />work or new information. City-proposed amendments may include changes to policies, <br />revisions to future land uses, zoning changes, updated maps, or other components of <br />the Plan.
