EXTRACT OF 1VIIl� UTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the 4th <br />day of February, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. xx� <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRIORITIES FOR USE OF RAMSEY COUNTY <br />COMMUIVITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS (CDBG) AND HOME INVESTMENT <br />PARTNERSHIP (HOME) FUNDS <br />WI�REAS, the Roseville Comprehensive Plan and Housing Policy adopted by the City Council <br />provides specific goals to provide a variety of housing types, improve the quality of below average <br />housing unites, fill the gaps to enable all stages of life cycle housing for entry level to senior citizens, <br />assist entry level family housing and retain and expand the business community; and <br />WI�REAS, the City of Roseville has, since 1985, continued to be an active participant in the <br />Ramsey County CDBG and HOME Programs; and <br />WI�REAS, annually the City Council establishes goals for housing and economic development <br />and recommends priorities for the Ramsey County CDBG and HOME project funding. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby <br />establishes the following priorities for use of Ramsey County CDBG/HO ME funds for 2002: <br />L Housin which includes Rehabilitation of Owner-Occupied Single Family Houses, <br />Homeownership for First Time Homebuyers, Rehabilitation of Rental Property, Removal of <br />Dilapidated Structures, New Affordable Housing Construction for Families and Seniors, <br />Rehabilitation loans for eligible Condominium and Townhome developments and <br />establishment of Housing Land Trusts <br />2. Neighborhood Revitalization <br />3. Infrastructure Improvements <br />4.
