A <br />City Council Minutes <br />Special Regular Meeting of January 7, 2002 <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members present 6:04 p.m. <br />(voting order): Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing and Kysylyczyn. Roll Call <br />Absent: none. <br />A. Communications and Public Comment <br />A-1 Kough announced a meeting next Tuesday, January 15, 2002, in <br />Austin, Minnesota with Kermit Mahan regarding affordable <br />housing. Mayor Kysylyczyn, Council Member Kough, and staff will <br />depart Roseville at 8:00-8:30 a.m. <br />A-2 <br />B. <br />Kysylyczyn thanked Chief Justice Blatz and Senator Mark Dayton <br />for attending the Swearing-In Ceremony on January 2, 2002. <br />Kysylyczyn acknowledged Dan Coughlin and Bill Falkerbeck. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />B-1 Kysylyczyn moved, Klausing seconded, that the minutes of the <br />meeting of December 17, 2001, be approved as amended. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Maschka, Klausing and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. Abstain: <br />Schroeder and Kough, due to the fact they were not members of the <br />Council on December 17, 2001. <br />1�Iinutes <br />C. Consent Agenda Consent Agenda <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, that Items Gl through C-7 be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing <br />and Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br />Gl Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, to authorize the City Manager <br />to send letters requesting support for: Volunteer Recognition <br />Banquet, Winterfest, Spring Celebration, Rose of Many Colors Art <br />Series, Rosefest, Soap Box Derby, Summer Concert Series, <br />Halloween Event, Holiday Event, and the New Year's Eve Event. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Schroeder, Maschka, Kough, Klausing and <br />Kysylyczyn. Nays: none. <br />Authorize Solicitation <br />Support for <br />Various P 8i R <br />Special Events <br />c-2 Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, to establish January 28, 2002 Set Date for <br />at 6:00 p.m. as the date and time for the meeting of the Roseville Local Development <br />
