March 1: On March 1�` two focus group meetings were held with faith based groups and <br />educational institutions and with housing and mixed use developers. <br />March 10: <br />A community workshop was held on Saturday morning, March 10. <br />Approximately 30 neighborhood representatives attended. Over 1200 notices <br />were mailed to residents and property owners within 350 feet of the site. <br />March 22: The first round of concept plans were developed and reviewed by the community <br />on March 22. <br />April Planning Commission reviewed concepts <br />Council provided feedback on the concepts plan and direct staff to revise the <br />concept plans with more fle�bility and creativity. <br />June - July Staff inet with management representative of JLT office park and discussed the <br />master plan process with management at Centennial Gardens to understand their <br />long-term plans for the site. <br />Staff reviewed the comprehensive plan, meeting notes and Council and Planning <br />commission comments and developed a list of planning principles that can be <br />applied to the redevelopment of the area. <br />Staff developed alternate concepts in a phased approach and discussed the <br />concepts with a group of housing and mixed-use developers. <br />Staff prepared a summary of the concepts and applied land use breakdown and <br />images of possible development types that may be acceptable in the area. <br />August Meet individually with Council Members to review master plan and <br />options for Arona site and neighborhood. <br />2002: <br />January Staff meets with new Council Member to review master plan and options <br />for Arona site and neighborhood. <br />Q:\Plazming Files�3243_Arona Dev 2000\Maste Plan Process\Arona MsstsT Plan Process Timeline.doc <br />
