The actual costs incurred <br />�� will be tracked and charged to the proj ect. Any contributing funds <br />i: from outside sources (i.e.. Municipal State Aid, water or sanitary <br />sewer operating funds, connect �on charges, other governmental agenc'les) <br />� may be deducted from the total improvement cost to determine the <br />� <br />, <br />�E <br />� <br />� <br />�. <br />L <br />F <br />�.. <br />F <br />� <br />assessable costs. <br />The initiation of public improvement proj ects may happen in two <br />different methods. The first method is by a petition of the affected <br />property owners. The petition must be signed by the owners of not less <br />than 35 percent of the frontage of the real property abutting the <br />proposed improvements. The second method is to initiate the <br />� <br />proceedings by City Council direction, in which case no petition is <br />needed. An outline of the public improvement process is provided in <br />the Appendix. <br />
