Need to move on to future issues. <br />Public Comment: <br />A1 Sands-2612 Aldine <br />Doesn't make sense to assess property owners. They <br />didn't ask for the improvements. Should be funded by <br />other means other ways to fund rather than on the tax <br />levy. <br />Dick Lambert-resident <br />Potentially a benefit to the property owner. Their <br />property value may increase--would not be unreasonable <br />to assess. If no increase to property value then yes the <br />city should fund 100%. <br />Marilyn Rose Sanft-2500 Fernwood Street <br />Would like to see a 5%-10% assessment to property <br />owners. <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, Streetscape <br />assessment at 0%. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kough, Schroeder, and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: HIausing, Maschka. <br />Assessments on Josephine & Owasso: <br />Work to be completed in one month, more time to <br />compile information--August at the earliest for a public <br />hearing. <br />Kysylyczyn: When are we going to bring up the other <br />issues? <br />Beets: July 15 would be enough time to gather <br />information regarding the policy. Resolve remaining <br />assessment policies. <br />Public hearing for July 15 for assessments. <br />
