8. 0 PLANNING C01��I1��IISSION CONSIDERATION: <br />81 On June 5, 2002 the Roseville Planning Commission held the hearing regarding the <br />Dahmann variance request. No citizens were present to address the Commission; <br />however, Mary Ann Sabino (applicants spouse) was present to answer any questions. <br />8.2 The Commission did have a number of questions of staf£ Specifically, the City Planner <br />was asked to clarify the square footage of the variance; described the staff analysis <br />regarding hardship; and explain the reasonableness used in supporting the variance <br />request. <br />8.3 The Commission voted (5 — 0) to recommend approval of a 171 square foot variance and <br />a conditional use permit for Knut Dahmann based on the comments and findings of <br />Section 4 and 5, and the conditions of Section 7 of the project report dated June 5, 2002. <br />9.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />9.1 Adopt a resolution approving a 171 square foot variance to Section 1004.O1A4 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow construction of a detached accessory building 840 <br />square feet in size in the rear yard adjacent to the principal structure for property <br />located at 1055 Shryer Avenue, based on the comments and findings in Section 4 <br />and 5 of the project report dated June 17, 2002. <br />9.2 Adopt a resolution approving a conditional use permit to allow construction of a 30 <br />foot by 28 foot (840 sq. ft.) detached accessory building (parcel total of 1,299 square <br />feet) in the rear yard adjacent to the principal structure of property located at 1055 <br />Shryer Avenue, based on the comments and findings in Section 4 and 5, and the <br />conditions stipulated in Section 7 of the project report dated June 17, 2002. <br />Prepared by.
