EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, NTinnesota, was held on the 17th day of 7une 2002, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A4 (REQUIREMENTS FOR INCREASED MAXIMUM SIZE) AND A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CONSISTENT WITH SECTION 1013.01 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1055 SHRYER AVENUE (PF 3397). WHEREAS, Knut Dahmann seeks a 171 square foot variance to Section 1004.O1A4 (Requirements for Increased Ma�mum Size) of the Roseville City Code to a11ow construction of a 28 foot by 30 foot (840 sq. ft) detached accessory building (garage); and WHEREAS, Mr. Dahmann's property is located at 1055 Shryer Avenue and legally described at as: Lot 7, Auditor's Subdivision No. 85 (PID#142923230003) WHEREAS, Section 1004.O1A4 allows accessory building square footage to a maximum size of 1,008 square feet under a conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, NIr. Dahmann has proposed a detached accessory building requiring a conditional use permit and variance to a11ow a 171 square foot increase from the Code m�imum; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the variance request by Mr. Vazquez and recommended (5-O) to approve the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated 6/OS/02. NOW TI�REFORE BE TT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Knut Dahmann a 17 1 square foot variance to Section 1004.01A4 of the Roseville City Code and a conditional use permit to allow construction of a 28 foot by 30 foot (840 sq. ft.) detached accessory building at 1055 Shryer Avenue based on the findings in Section 5 of the project report dated 7une 17, 2002, and subject to the following conditions:. a. The elimination of the allowance of a 120 square foot garden shed (allowed under Section 1004.O1A2)
