OFFICIAL <br />SPECIAL ELECTION BALLOT <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />MINNESOTA <br />❑ YES "Shall the City of Roseville, Minnesota, be authorized to issue <br />its general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed <br />$9,000,000 to defray the expense of the acquisition and <br />betterment of public safety and public works facilities?" <br />❑ NO <br />NOTICE: BY VOTING "YES" ON THIS BALLOT <br />QUESTION, YOU ARE VOTING FOR A <br />PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. <br />The maximum amount of increased levy as a percentage of market <br />value is .02895%. <br />The maximum amount that would be raised by the new referendum <br />tax rate in the first year if it were to be levied is $850,000. <br />INSTRUCTION TO VOTERS: <br />If you wish to vote in favor of the above proposition, mark a cross (X) in the square before the <br />word "YES". If you wish to vote against the above proposition, mark a cross (X) in the square <br />before the word "NO". <br />(NOTE: On the back of each ballot shall be printed the words "Official Ballot", the date of <br />the election and lines for the initials of the judges.) <br />4. Manner; Canvass. Said election sha11 be held and conducted in accordance with <br />the statutes of the State of Minnesota applicable, and the Council shall meet as required by law <br />for the purpose of canvassing said election and declaring the results thereof. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member <br />and, after full discussion thereof and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereoi <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
