Roseville Proclamation <br />A Day to Remember <br />September 11 <br />`��hereas: the unprovoked attacks of September 11, 2001, upon America by terrorists <br />have thrust the United States and other countries into a war it never envisioned, militarily <br />or diplomatically; and <br />Whereas: the challenges facing all civilized people in the world as they relate to the <br />war on terrorism will not end until those responsible are brought to justice; and <br />`��hereas: America is fully committed to ensure our freedoms remain unfettered and <br />sovereign for all nations, now and forever; and <br />Whereas: one way to accomplish this is to never forget the innocent victims who did <br />not die in vain; and <br />Whereas: this commemoration should be held each September 11 throughout the land <br />to promote global peace and goodwill, demonstrate America's resolve and perseverance to <br />win the war on terrorism, advance responsible citizenship, encourage patriotism and love <br />of country, and poignant remember the innocent victims who died on September 11, 2001, <br />as heroes, one and all. <br />Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the City of Roseville hereby memorialize those men, <br />women and children who lost their lives; and <br />Be it Further Resolved, that the citizens of Roseville, Minnesota, remember with eternal <br />respect those whose lives where suddenly and without cause taken from them on <br />September 11, 2001. <br />In the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, U.S.A <br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the City of <br />Roseville to be affixed this 19th day of August 2002. <br />Mayor John Kysylyczyn <br />
