Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held at City Hall on <br />Tuesday, the 3rd day of September, 2002, at 7:00 1'.M. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember introduced the followingresolution and moved its adoption: <br />Resolution No. <br />Resolution to Include Charter Language Vote on the <br />November 5,2002 General Election <br />WHEREAS, a nine-member Charter Commission has drafted and submitted to the City <br />Council a proposed charter for the City of Roseville; <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Ramsey County and the City of Roseville will <br />conduct a General Election on November 5,2002, and; <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 410.10, Subd. 1 provides that upon delivery of <br />the draft charter, the council of the city shall cause the proposed charter to be submitted <br />at the next general election thereafter occurring in the city within six months after the <br />delivery of such draft; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby fixes the date of <br />the CharterElection as Tuesday, November 5,2002 in conjunctionwith the General <br />Election on that date, at which time the electorate of the City shall vote on the following <br />question: <br />"Shall the proposed new charterbe adopted? Yes �� �� <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
