Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held at City Hall on Tuesday, the 3rd day of September, 2002, at 7:00 1'.M. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Councilmember introduced the followingresolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. Resolution to Include Charter Language Vote on the November 5,2002 General Election WHEREAS, a nine-member Charter Commission has drafted and submitted to the City Council a proposed charter for the City of Roseville; WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Ramsey County and the City of Roseville will conduct a General Election on November 5,2002, and; WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 410.10, Subd. 1 provides that upon delivery of the draft charter, the council of the city shall cause the proposed charter to be submitted at the next general election thereafter occurring in the city within six months after the delivery of such draft; NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby fixes the date of the CharterElection as Tuesday, November 5,2002 in conjunctionwith the General Election on that date, at which time the electorate of the City shall vote on the following question: "Shall the proposed new charterbe adopted? Yes �� The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
