City of Roseville 2002 Referendum Public Works What is the need: � Not enough room for equipment. If equipment is stored properly the life of equipment can be extended by up to three times compared to when it is stored outdoors. � Salt and sand storage area does not meet state and federal requirements. � Salt and sand storage area is too small and is open to the elements. As a result Roseville can- not store large quantites of salt and sand and pays higher prices. Also the open piles can have run off of material. o/ City keeps repair costs low by doing repairs internally.
